What if??

What if you lost your Will? What if a disgruntled relative stole it? What if you were unfortunate to have a flood or fire or even damage your Will by accident?

Where are documents stored?

More Than Wills use a fully managed, professionally converted WW2 bunker that is protected against theft, flood, fire and other risks, giving you complete peace of mind regarding the security of your documents. The facility, maintained to BS5454, is in vaults 100 feet underground, offering a naturally safe and secure environment for these important documents.

Who can access my Will?

Your Will and any other documents can only be accessed by the facility’s staff and are electronically logged to ensure that they can be tracked. In your lifetime, only you will be able to retrieve them. When you pass away, only your Executor with proof of death will be able to.

What happens if I or my Executors forget where my Will is stored?

Don't worry, your original legal Will can be found even if your Executors think it's been lost.

All documents stored with More Than Wills at the facility are registered with Certainty, The National Will Register (normally £30), which means that they can always be easily located should there be any confusion over their location.
